L & M At Folktale Winery in Carmel
This amazing wedding had the absolute coolest, laid-back, effortless vibe to it and it was such a dream day. Everything about it reflected their effortlessly cool personalities and personal tastes. L & M wanted a wedding that felt personal and intimate with their closest family and friends in attendance and wanted to share this special place with them. L & M love Carmel and Carmel Valley, seeing that they are Bay area locals, Carmel Valley tends to be a great weekend sanctuary away from the hustle of Silicon Valley. Since today is Pride Day I wanted to share a winery that I am super proud of having to been a part of.
These beautiful ladies wanted to share their love of wine and good food with their guest and they chose the perfect spot to do that. Folktale winery was perfect because it was everything they wanted wrapped into the perfect dreamy setting. Great wine, amazing food from Chef Todd Fisher, a perfect rental house onsite for their families and it was Dog Friendly.
L & M told me early on in the process that other than the fact that they wanted great food and atmosphere at their wedding one of the most important elements was ensuring that their sweet doggy, Riley, the Puggle was included and well cared for. They rented the Vineyard house at Folktale Winery to stay for the weekend so that Riley could be there for all parts of the celebration.
Their weekend started with a casual taco night at Joyce Winery in Carmel to allow all guest to get in to town and come mingle. The next morning their hair and make up provided by one of my favorite teams, MUAH, was onsite to enhance their stunning beauty. They both had brothers and sisters-in-laws to include in their wedding party and their two close friends officiated the ceremony. They had a wonderful celloist, Charles Wang, perform for their ceremony and cocktail hour in the Rose Garden. The show stopper was Riley, acting as the ring bearer. That and the amazing al fresco dinner on the patio at Folktale and the super fun dance party in the green house with the Allison Sharino Band followed by an amazing dessert bar provided by Blue Aces Bake Shoppe. All of this was complimented by the beautiful peach flowers from Swenson and Stilacci and captured by the sweetest photographer Anna Marks and cool video team, The Vision Field.Their beautiful teaser is here.
