Teryn and David had a whirlwind romance, they met online and knew they were the perfect match within months. I have to agree, the minute that I met them I felt like they were made for each other.

 

Teryn grew up not far from the Monterey area and David is from Scotland. When they got engaged they instantly started thinking about going to Scotland to get married in some majestic castle. However, Teryn’s sweet sister learned that she was going to have a baby so they decided to keep the wedding stateside and a little easier for the new mom. I enjoyed joking with the sister that thanks to her I got to be a part of their beautiful wedding and I was so thankful for her!

 

I have to say if you can’t make it back to Scotland for a wedding, Folktale Winery is such a great compromise. It’s the perfect location for a fairytale wedding – not only is it incredibly romantic, but it is picture perfect everywhere you look. This beautiful couple only enhanced the beauty of Folktale!

 

Their intimate wedding was perfectly nestled into the Vineyard House of the winery and the ceremony was in the rose garden surrounded by vineyards. It was a perfect, sunny, warm day in Carmel Valley, but I can only wonder if that Kilt and wool jacket that David and his friends were rocking got a little warm in the heat of the day!
